The school uses a text message service to alert parents and staff when severe weather causes the school to close. We will only send you a text if the school is closed or is about to close.

Following a day of closure you can assume that the school will be open again as normal unless we send you a new text message.

For this system to work it is essential that we have your current mobile number and that you tell us if you change. If you did not receive a text during the closures in February 2009 this is because the school does not have the correct mobile number to contact you on. Please update our records this week.

For parents without mobiles we also ask local radio stations to broadcast a closure announcement. The stations we use are:
